One of my favorite children's books of all time is Liesl & Po by Lauren Oliver. It's a gorgeously spooky ghost story (think A Series of Unfortunate Events meets Coraline) that I always wished to see animated. As I read through my physical hardcover copy, I animated what I imagined this TV Show Intro might look like, inspired by the gritty charcoal illustrations and gilded dust jacket as aesthetic direction.

This animation was inspired by childhood memories of my grandmother. We were only able to spend a few summers with her, but her presence and wisdom left indelible marks in my memory. Portions of her handwriting and illustrations contributed to the static visual elements as reminders of the precious moments we had together before she passed.
